What does a live sound engineer do?
A live sound engineer makes sure everyone in the room hears the performance clearly and every performer on stage hears themselves. That means planning the system for the venue, placing and tuning the speakers, miking the band or the speakers, running the monitor mixes and mixing front of house for the whole show.
Events Static Studios has run
The team was main sound engineer for the RACA graduation project event, setting up the college band’s equipment and configuring the system for the performance, and assistant sound engineer for Collège De La Salle Frère’s 2024 graduation ceremony, miking its performing artists. For “القرية”, the Hashemite Royal family’s festival, the studio composed the theme music and organised and oversaw the live audio production across the event.
DJs for events in Amman
Anas, the studio’s DJ, producer and live sound engineer, played the headline set at The St. Regis Amman’s New Year’s Eve event, a disco house opening set at 165 Entertainment’s Amr Diab concert, and a resident Arabic set at The Good Place. He plays electronic, commercial and open-format sets, adapting to the event and the audience. See his page.
