We don't rent. We own. Every box below is in the building right now, and every one of them has its own page in the book — drawn, specced, and with the reason it is here rather than something cheaper.
Ten boxes, drawn and specified. One per spread. Turn the page.

The Building
We own all of it. Nothing on this list is hired in for the day.
2Everything in the building arrives here first.
3Eighteen in, twenty out. Four SSL mic preamps with the Legacy 4K switch, so a source can be sweetened on the way in instead of argued with later.
The spine of every session — tracking, overdubs, monitoring and playback all pass through it.
4The vocal chain. One box, three decisions.
5Class-A discrete valve preamp into an opto compressor into a four-band sweep EQ. It is the reason a vocal recorded here sits forward without being pushed.
Lead vocals, voice-over and upright bass — anything that has to sit at the front of a mix.
6The quiet one. Hears the room whether you wanted it to or not.
7Transformerless, cardioid, and with a noise floor low enough that the limit is the room rather than the microphone. The K 103 capsule is the large-diaphragm Neumann sound with the lift kept gentle.
First choice on a detailed lead vocal, and on acoustic guitar when the part needs air.
8Three patterns, so the room is a choice.
9A one-inch gold-evaporated capsule behind that wave-form mesh head. Cardioid for the take, omni when the room is worth keeping, figure-of-eight for two singers on one microphone.
Room pairs, backing vocals, guitar cabinets, and duets recorded face to face.
10The one that refuses to hear the neighbours.
11A dynamic cardioid with internal air-suspension shock isolation and a yoke you can point anywhere. It rejects the room, which is exactly what a loud vocal or a podcast in a live space needs.
Rap and rock vocals, podcasts, and any voice recorded in a room we did not build.
12Point it at the loud thing. It will be fine.
13The most recorded microphone in history, and still the fastest way to a snare, a guitar cabinet or a brass section that already sounds like the record.
Snare top, guitar cabinets, percussion, and anything that has to survive a live stage.
14Five decibels of self-noise. Effectively silent.
15A one-inch gold-sputtered capsule in a nickel-plated body, on its own SM6 shock mount and pop shield. One of the quietest studio condensers made, which makes it the safe pair of hands for soft sources.
Whispered and intimate vocals, nylon-string guitar, strings and voice-over.
16Hears the actor. Ignores the street.
17An interference-tube shotgun with a switchable low-cut and the choice of phantom power or a single AA — so it works on a boom on set and on a camera in a car park.
Boomed dialogue, ADR reference, foley and location interviews.
18A control room you can carry up a hill.
19Six tracks, four XLR/TRS combo inputs and an interchangeable capsule on top. Every location recording, foley session and festival capture starts here.
Location recording, foley, ambience gathering and multitrack capture of live sets.
20The cable, removed.
21SK 100 G4 bodypack, EK 100 G4 camera receiver and an ME 2 omni lavalier. Up to twenty compatible channels, so a panel or a documentary crew does not run out of frequencies.
Podcast guests, interviews, documentary and anything filmed while moving.
22One room, treated from wall to ceiling: the desk, the monitors and the mic in the same space, tuned to hear the truth.

Six stems from one loop, all locked to the same clock. Press play on as many as you like — they stack in time, exactly the way they would on the desk. Nothing to download.
